The Waterfall Unity Alliance would like to wish you a happy new moon. As the new moon energies are upon us, we have a very exciting announcement to share with you. As Grandmother Moon gives us frequencies of new beginnings, we encourage you all to assist us in sharing the information included in this week’s newsletter.
The Waterfall Unity Alliance will be hosting their second concert celebration this summer! The 2023 WaterfallUnity Festival is a benefit concert and celebration that will take place July 28th-30th. Save the date and join us this Summer in Skóhare to honor, celebrate and give gratitude for all the growth, transformation and blooming of our vision.
Last year, we were able to raise the funds needed to purchase what was once Bohringer’s Berry Farm within the span of a couple months with the help of the concert. Now, Iotsi’tsisons (Skywoman’s) Forever Farm is officially returned to Kanien’kehá:ka stewardship and Onkwehonwe women are actively rematriating the land. For this year’s celebration, we’d like to emphasize the importance of creating our language immersion earth school and programs. As we continue to walk the path toward sovereignty, it is integral that our people can return to our language.
Tickets are not required to attend the festival, though it is encouraged. Visit our eventbrite where you can purchase tickets to the festival.
