On August 8th, a world water prayer has been called in solidarity with the Women’s Water Walk to stop the Constitution Pipeline, a fracked gas mega pipeline proposed in New York and Pennsylvania.
As communities around the world face increasing threats from pipelines, data centers, mining and fossil fuel extraction, the movement for prayerful action to protect our water is also growing.
We stand behind the prayer for the water of life. We stand behind the women as the life-givers. We stand behind the future generations and their right to a livable future. This is our prayer and our promise.
