OUR MISSION: The mission of the Waterfall Unity Alliance is to protect Skóhare (the Schoharie Valley) and all Earth; build alliances across movements and cultures; and help create solutions to the existential challenges of our time.
WHO WE ARE: The Waterfall Unity Alliance is a women-led 501c3 nonprofit organization located in the Schoharie Valley of upstate New York, the ancestral territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka. We work in partnership with Peoples from the four directions, original lineage holders, local residents, environmental leaders, and cultural workers to restore relationships of reciprocity and respect.
The Waterfall Unity Alliance began as a frontline organization in 2015 to help stop the Constitution Pipeline. It's time to unite again.
On August 8, 2026 we will begin a two-week, 100 mile prayer walk led by women through towns along the route of the proposed Constitution Pipeline in New York State.
We invite teachers, students, farmers, neighbors, workers, artists, faith leaders, elected representatives and all relations to walk with us. You can walk for a week, a day, or even an hour. One step at a time, we are planting seeds of love, action and change for the generations to come.

The Waterfall Unity Alliance has been an incubator for empowering projects that foster and strengthen alliances across movements and cultures. From local land rematriation initiatives to art and cultural exchanges, we support people and projects that uphold traditional knowledge and values as a way of healing our planet and society.
