Dear Waterfall Unity Alliance family,
This is a gentle but urgent reminder that public comments submissions to FERC, regarding the Constitution pipeline are due by TODAY, May 4th at 5pm. Instructions on what and how to submit are detailed below.
Decisions are being made right now that will have lasting consequences, and our collective voices carry real weight in shaping what comes next. The time to act is now.
Your voice truly matters in this process. Even a brief comment can help ensure that community perspectives are heard and considered. If you haven’t submitted yet, I encourage you to take a few moments today to do so.
Thank you for your continued care, attention, and commitment to this work in protecting the land, water, and communities - present and future - that this project would effect.
With deep gratitude,
The Waterfall Center Team
Deadline: Monday May 4th at 5pm
Submit a public comment to FERC!
FERC has opened a public comment period related to any environmental, cultural, or financial impacts that that the pipeline construction and compressor station expansion might cause. YOUR VOICE MATTERS! We need as many people as possible to submit comments.
Click here to read a sample comment submitted by Summit resident Wayne Stinson about the pipeline.
“Don’t build the pipeline because it is dangerous to human health and the environment” is a valid comment. There is no need to have the answers or provide specific details to FERC as they will be doing that investigation for themselves.
You can submit a comment with a few clicks through Food & Water Watch.
